Where can I learn photography?
I’ve already taken a few basic shots, and I’ve read as many photography books that I could get access to. I’d really like a more hands on approach to learning about it, but I don’t where to get it. There aren’t any photography classes in my school. Are there any photography camps or something where I could learn? I’ve already looked into SOCAPA but it’s out of my budget

Look closely t the New York Institute of Photography (NYIP) correspondence course. it’s a self-paced, step-by-step course from a 100 year-old school specializing in teaching photography.
I belong to two camera clubs, and recommend them also, but they’re not as much about teaching as contests, programs and field trips. You need a structured course that starts from the beginning and goes through advanced training. NYIP does that. (I have no financial interest in NYIP, just to be clear — I just think they’re the second-best to a four-year college like Brooks or RIT.)
