landscape photography?
i’m not sure on what to do for my project. I really don’t know if photography is really what I want to do in life either. I take a ton of photos outdoors. I like capturing the sky, the trees, flowers, etc. all the things nature has to offer. I love the way it looks. I usually edit the photos unless I’m just completely blown away by the actual photo.
My project is due Monday (and I just found out about it) it’s for my Career Ed class. I plan on putting it on power point. of course, at the end, I will display my ‘gallery’ of photos. 
I was just wondering:
-what landscape photographers wear
-where they can get jobs (in magazines, companies, etc)
-salary?
-equipment
sorry it’s a lot to ask, I just think that people here would give better answers. I’ve been looking on websites and through a bunch of books. All I ever find is things like techniques, lighting, etc. It’s not much help. (for the project. Of course I can’t wait to spend time on reading through all the information.)

I ware jeans and clothing to stay warm or cool depending on the weather.
Most landscape images that I have sold have been at art shows.
Salary? what salary.. free lance work pays what ever you make it pay with your skills and marketing.
When I used film the for this the 4×5 view camera and my Hasselblad were my choice.
Back to the "uniform" .. when I want ppl to think I am a pro I tend to put on my photo vest with all the pockets. It is interesting how that is seen as the "uniform" of the trade.

I’m having a chuckle about "What do landscape photographers wear?"
These are two of the bigger names in landscape work at the moment:

Have a read of their sites. They don’t provide full length shots of themselves so you’ll have to guess what they wear.
I think they are mostly self-employed making a living from selling prints, licensing shots to magazine and book publishers, writing their own books, doing lectures and running courses. There would be no fixed salary for a landscape photographer – it’s the same as for any self-employed person.
You can use any kind of equipment for landscape work. The two I’ve picked have a preference for film and large format cameras. This kind of system can produce very high quality prints.
Edit: OK they would wear suitable outdoor clothing for the season and conditions. Probably hiking gear for most of those shots.
